Research Focus

Our lab focuses on understanding how the brain adapts and reorganizes itself following injury or disease. We use cutting-edge imaging techniques and behavioral assessments to study neuroplasticity in patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurodegenerative diseases.

Why This Matters

Our research could lead to new rehabilitation strategies that help patients recover lost brain function and improve quality of life for millions affected by neurological conditions.

Current Funding Status

Our lab received initial funding through a university start-up package, which covered basic equipment and one year of supplies. However, to continue our promising research, we need additional support for:

  • Specialized reagents and antibodies
  • Graduate student stipends
  • Equipment maintenance and upgrades
  • Publication costs for open-access journals

Community Challenge

If we reach 100 donors this month, our lab will host a virtual tour and Q&A session!
